Job Description:

  • The candidate will be responsible for the deployment of operating system & applications packages on workstations/devices, remediate failures and sending status reports using enterprise tools such as Microsoft Configuration Manager. He/She will be responsible for reporting success/failure metrics and escalating as required. He/She must display excellent written and verbal communication skills with interpersonal and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be flexible to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Responsibilities: • Scheduling and monitoring the software distribution in Bank of America environment Financial Center Servers and Workstations using web based tools. • Analyzing and remediation of failure to ensure maximum success rate. • Coordinating with the Line of Business for smooth functioning of application role out and new releases • Regular and frequent communication through chat, e-mail or phone with the onshore team is required to update the status and seeking additional information/clarification. • Look for Innovation and automation opportunities in the existing DMO Tools and also develop new methodologies. • Focus on Customer/Clients- Demonstrates sense of urgency for meeting SLAs. Earns business partner loyalty through Customer Service attitude, efficiency & accuracy. • Ability to take ownership of the assignments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • The business is looking for dynamic and talented individuals to coordinate Deployment and Maintenance Operations.
  • This role offers a high level of visibility as you’ll work in conjunction with a number of other internal teams (including Regional/Global teams) to provide seamless delivery of patch management, build relationships with regional and global stakeholders for effective management of the DMO functions in the area of application delivery and installation, patch updates, remediation, communications, and governance.
  • The role provides a greater understanding of the varied activities in the software release and deployment operations team working collaboratively across many teams. This role offers huge learning opportunities and opens a path into potential new avenues within the CSWE TI organization or within the Bank itself.
  • You shall be responsible for release management and operations of software delivery, patching as well as incidents involving end user support, technology issues, compliance, and regulatory submissions. You will also be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Respond to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solution. Support new patch rollout impacting end users working closely and in partnership with Regional and Global partners.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a field technician/PC tech • Needs to have Microsoft SCCM knowledge. • Candidate needs experience in software removal and installation. • Perform PC upgrades or reimaging following a set script • Strong Microsoft OS troubleshooting experience. Windows 10 and 7 experience. • Experience identifying potential issues users may encounter • Excellent understanding of MS Office toolset • Logging and Monitoring experience along with Trouble-shooting. • Good communication skills • Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to new processes and procedures in a timely manner. • Works independently with general guidance. • Primary job functions needs to be able to exercise independent judgment. • Continuously learn and adapt. Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, process and technologies. • Communicates effectively and clearly across audiences (business partner, internal and external service providers) • Take ownership

Desired Skills:

  • ITIL V3 Foundations certification.
  • Release/Project management Skills
  • Networking basics
  • VMWare \ HVD devices
  • Extensive knowledge of IBM BigFix, Tanium, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM2012) is desired but not necessary as bank utilized front-end tools which training will be provided
  • Experience in PowerShell scripting would be an advantage
  • At least one years’ experience in remotely deploying software
  • Experience with build and release management, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • High quality standards, analytical skills, structured thinking with advanced communications skills.
