QA (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a QA for our client in Newark, DE. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• 7 - 10 years. Responsible for validating that related activities function as designed. May include: setting testing processes and procedures for other testers, ensuring quality and completion of other testers outputs, functional, regression, integrated and performance testing, test data management, test environment management, and test batch support and operations. Will ensure own and others' adherence to enterprise testing standards, frameworks, and controls. Will have extensive experience in the field of testing and bring improvements to the process
• The candidate is expected to learn the business and technical components of the applications to perform activities related to test planning, creation of test cases/scripts, test execution, defect management and project closure activities. The candidate is expected to have proven ability to work on complex testing projects and drive results by working across all levels - from test executioners to Senior Project and Technical Project Managers. A technical background, test automation experience, banking domain knowledge and experience of working in global delivery team are a plus. Candidate will get an opportunity to contribute and grow within a highly collaborative continuous improvement culture.
• Responsibilities will also include the preparation and delivery of reports, recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the organization. The candidate may need to work in an Agile model.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Selenium WebDriver using Java
• Develop and implement automated testing solutions
• Strong coding experience in Java programming language
• Good understanding of OOPs concepts
• Maintain and update Selenium WebDriver scripts
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Ability to write basic database queries
• Ability to work with onshore and offshore teams
• Experience with Web Service Testing will be a plus
• Any experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) is a plus
• Should have familiarity with GitHub, TFS and Jenkins.
