SkillStorm is seeking a QA for our client in Pennington, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Responsible for validating that related activities function as designed. May include: functional, regression, integrated and performance testing, test data management, test environment management, and test batch support and operations. Will ensure adherence to enterprise testing standards, frameworks, and controls.
• The candidate will participate in the planning, monitoring and execution of the testing activities related to a software platform upgrade, as well as the regression testing of the corresponding web portal. The individual will participate in the creation, documentation, implementation and execution of the test cases from a user acceptance standpoint. The Quality Assurance team member will gain an understanding of the underlying applications and establish a testing routine to properly communicate and escalate test results with the project team members.
• Specific role details:
• Create and optimize test planning routines, including defect management and reporting.
• Contribute to building quality into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using best practices and tools.
• Ensure alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders.
• Manage test execution and assist with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance.
• Condition and generate test data to ensure requirements and test scenarios are being met from key business owners.
• Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary.
