SkillStorm is seeking a QA Engineer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Our Client seeks a QA (SDET) engineer to join our Merchant Engineering Team. This candidate will work closely with the remote development team, product management and customer support with a focus on mobile applications. The candidate will test, automate, validate and certify android applications within our PaymentFusion platform.

Responsibilities:

• As a QA engineer (SDET) on the payment enterprise team you'll be applying your engineering skills to help build and maintain our automation framework which serves to ensure quality deliverables for our customers
• Evaluate software readiness through
• designing and writing detailed, reliable and reusable functional test plans
• designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites
• perform testing after software deployments
• Work alongside developers as part of the initial design and develop test cases and automation
• Be involved with deploying and monitoring software application to test environments and production
• Identify, design, and deliver technical solutions (frameworks, tests, API hooks) increasing test effectiveness and coverage while reducing the cost of test executions
• Responsible to troubleshoot, debug, resolve product issues as they arise
• Implement metrics, analyze test data and results to identify patterns, report on risk status to development partners and influence software quality.

Qualifications:

• Be a hands-on technical individual capable of driving test cases and automation strategies with a data driven approach
• Demonstrate proficiency in writing code in one or more of the following languages - java, objective c, typescript, junit
• Strong Experience with modern WEB/API automation tools
• Relevant experience in testing mobile applications
• Good understanding of API testing and in utilizing Postman
