QA (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a QA for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline or comparable work experience is required
• Independent worker with strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of testing best practices for all phases of testing
• Attention to detail and an analytical skill for testing products for defects and preparing reports
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) to lead and drive deliverables
• Exposure to banking domain - treasury/payment systems (desired)
• Strong competency in requirement analysis, prioritize tasks, identify risks
• Organized and able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Onshore/Offshore model
• Highly motivated, able to work independently. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, Communicates Effectively, builds relationships, Influences others
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changes
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand what is needed to be tested and to formulate effective testing strategies
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing test scripts
• Working Knowledge of Defect creation and management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
• Solid experience with Agile methodologies and agile best practices/testing best practices 
• 5+ years of hands-on experience:
• Designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing automated test scripts
• Experience creating project deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports and automation dashboards
• Using Quality Center/AML and JIRA
• Experience writing and reviewing feature files
• Experience with Agile testing methodologies
• Experience with Web UI and API testing
• Ability to prioritize tasks and drive testing to completion
• Experience with reporting out on project status
• Experience with test planning for all phases of testing
• Takes initiative
