SkillStorm is seeking a QA for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• The Global Transaction Services Technology team is looking for a Quality Assurance Testing professional with an ability to support parallel projects in a fast-paced working environment; must be able to work independently.
• Responsible for development and execution of testing strategies utilizing various software deliverable methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Work with Development and other internal teams to help troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are resolved; Ensures adherence to defined testing quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline or comparable work experience is required
• Independent worker with strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of testing process and experience with the implementation
• Attention to detail and an analytical skill for testing products for defects and preparing reports.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) to lead and Drive deliverables
• Exposure to banking domain - treasury/payment systems.
• Strong competency in requirement analysis, prioritize tasks, identify risks
• Organized and able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Onshore/Offshore model.
• Highly motivated, able to work independently. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, Communicates Effectively, builds relationships, Influences others
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand what is needed to be tested and to formulate effective testing strategies
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing test scripts.
• Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
• Solid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, Gherkin an asset)
• experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience in version control using Git
• 5+ years of hands-on experience:
• Designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing automated test scripts
• Executing automation scripts, preparing executions reports and defect logs
• Creating project deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports and automation dashboards
• Using Quality Center/AML, QTest 
• Using Selenium

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Agile testing methodologies
• Client focused and able to build working relationships
• Experience with Web UI and API testing
• Preference is for hands-on experience using Cucumber and BDD processes creating Feature Files and Step Definitions
• CORE JAVA development skills
• Command over SQL
