Python / UI Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Python / UI Developer for our client in New York, NY. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Python server and UI Developer for a what-if xVA pricer Quartz application. Candidate will have strong design, problem solving and and codings skills. Experience in UI development (MVC) is a plus. Basic knowledge of derivatives is a plus. Candidate will interact with the CPM desk and the position requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years coding experience. 2+ years in a financial firm either front office or risk(XVA). Strong communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Agile development methodology.

Desired Skills:

• Python a plus. Knowledge of XVA or counterparty risk a plus. Basic knowledge of financial products a plus. Quartz experience a plus. Distributed computing a plus
