Python Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Python Developer for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• High Mid-level object-oriented application developer to design, develop, maintain and enhance existing and growing financial application that supports collateral management. You will provide analysis of software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. You will also write code to said specifications, perform applicable testing and engage with end users for validation testing.
• You need to collaborate well within the team and possibly with other teams as well. You will need to prioritize tasks all while overcoming obstacles along the way. You'll work hard both as an individual contributor and as a team member, but at the end of the day you and your work will matter.
• Programming in an object-oriented language (Python preferred)
• Database development experience, i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB etc.
• Ability to collaborate with others, communicate clearly and be organized in an agile framework.
• start will work from home but needs to be local candidate for when back in the office
