Python Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Python Developer for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Post Trade Processing space is a dynamic, cross-functional organization with business analysts, developers and systems engineers, testing professionals and business/technical support professionals. We are seeking for a lead developer to deliver on bank-wide business enablement, regulatory reporting and platform stability initiatives in this space.
• These are large, distributed enterprise applications and experience with comparable systems is a must. Role expectation is to drive end-to-end business delivery by closely working with global counterparts in a hands-on mode.

Required Skills:

• Design and Programming experience in Python or other object oriented language (Python preferred)
• SQL on any RDBMS 
• Plus working Experience in any of the following 
• object databases
• messaging systems

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Agile software development
• Preferred to have Banking and Financial Domain experience, understanding of enterprise data architectures in the financial industry with strong problem solving skills.
