Python / C# Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Python / C# Developer for our client in Houston, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• The role is to augment the commodities development team in Houston. The role will involve working very closely with the Quartz core teams, front office traders/marketers and the quant team to build consistent software solutions.
• Primary responsibilities will include developing Python based software for our sales and trading desks in a collaborative environment with a global team.
• Constant engagement will be critical with the business stake holders to identify and document requirements to fulfill their various needs around pricing, risk and trade capture.

• 1st level support of the delivered technologies in the location will be expected.

Required Skills:

• Structured Development background (C# / C++ or similar – ideally Python scripting)
• Understanding of OO concepts
• Experience with pricing and analytics for commodities derivatives
• Solid communication skills, capable of facing off with sales and trading desks

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience of working in on commodity end-of-day or intraday risk.
• Experience with Openlink Endur EOD
• Experience with Python language
