Project Manager / Delivery Lead (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager / Delivery Lead for our client in Charlotte, NC OR Addison, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Looking for an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Lead to manage the delivery of multiple complex projects within the Global Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance Program. Project management responsibilities relating to delivery of technical solutions using the Enterprise Change tools and guidelines.
  • Manages critical projects that are customer facing.
  • Manages/Coordinates resources within and across various lines of business and has matrix management responsibility.
  • Balances soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, milestone delivery to a tight plan and costs with an emphasis on soft skills.
  • Identifies and establishes project milestones, works with the technical team to build out the WBS, identifies tasks and timelines.
  • Manages budgets and works with management and Finance to make sure the project remains on budget or if additional funds are required, works with management to define the amount, the timeline and where it will come from. Works closely with the finance/accounting team who are responsible for moving the funding to the appropriate buckets.
  • Defines and evaluates problems and plans effective solutions. Must be able to identify possible issues before they become an issue and successfully mitigate to keep the project (and personnel) on schedule.
  • Must be able to succinctly present progress as well as issues and be able to provide possible solutions as well as take constructive criticism and not let it affect him/her.
  • Understand stakeholder's expectations and objectives.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with management, team members and stakeholders.
  • Must be able to identify changing priorities within the project and move resources to continue the most effective use of the resources.
  • Determine and assess need for additional resources and make the appropriate recommendations if necessary, during project cycle.
  • Required to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner
  • Effectively manage through Bank’s MRA2, PPRT, PMO, PTS/PTO processes
