Project Manager

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• 7 - 10 years. Responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments within a single business unit. Manages, leads and directs the work efforts of resources that may be functionally aligned as part of the project and/or organizationally aligned as direct reports. Responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams in order to deliver the intended project solution.
• As part of an Agile team, the candidate will work with users to refine requirements, design and develop high-quality and scalable systems, and assist users during the QA/UAT process.
• This is a hands-on, technical position with the expectation that a majority of the candidate’s time will be spent conducting agile ceremonies, system analysis, supporting and coordinating user testing, and maintaining technical documentation.

• Proficient with Agile Software Delivery Lifecycle and Ceremonies
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead a team
• Familiar with writing technical documentation
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
• Self motivated
• Experience with MS Visio and/or additional diagramming tools
• Familiarity with various testing such as unit, acceptance and performance testing

• Exposure to object oriented and functional programming languages like Java and Scala
