Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in New York, NY. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Compliance with enterprise project tracking requirements
• Project initiation, project plan, and project scope documentation
• Identification and refinement of requirements
• Tracking and reporting of project status and deliverables
• Tracking and coordination of project artifacts
• Management of the project roadmap
• Coordination with development teams on resource allocation
• Change Management (scope, dates, etc.)
• Communication planning and execution.

Skill Requirements:

• 7 yrs experience doing PM with 2 years at least in Fixed Income Technology
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• General technical skill, e.g., ability to write SQL, write macros in Excel, and understand the principles and key practices in software & database design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Munis, MBS, structured products, and securitized product collateral

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Previous experience within our Client and MBAM is a plus
• Previous experience with Municipal Bond and Bloomberg applications is a plus
• Knowledge of Client’s SDM methodology and Program / Project Governance requirements is a plus.
