Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Employee Experience Technology (EET) is responsible for providing all employee technology and critical staff support technology tools to enable employee productivity globally. This role will sit within the EET Chief Operating Office and help provide governance for all key service and product modifications. As new ideas move from strategy into execution and right before they deploy into production this role will collect required information to ensure teams are ready to move to the next delivery phase. This includes helping support the governance process by working with the product and service owners to review and if needed refine the submissions (estimated to receive about 3-5 submissions a week), host the intake governance meeting with the submitters and key support teams and ensure all key actions are captured with documented next steps. The role is pivotal to ensure that key priorities are properly socialized, reviewed and supported so we can enable our technology teams to deliver for our employees.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of the JIRA software platform and ability to configure key intake fields
  • Ability to lead a cross functional meeting and capture and report key action items and next steps.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills as demonstrated by 3+ years of experience
  • Skilled with MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient at written and oral communication, including presentation skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with employee technology services and products
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
