Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Oversee special project (audits, MRA’s, etc.) as they relate to metadata management
• Serve as de facto PM as needed
• Support financials, change, and staffing as needed

• Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of business processes within a large financial institution, preference for experience within Finance or Risk Domains
• Familiarity with taxonomy, ontologies and semantic modeling
• Conceptual and logical business data modeling experience across domain (i.e. customer, account, risk, etc.)
• Deep understanding and experience with technical, operational and business metadata
• Ability to derive and communicate value (business case) from metadata management
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software, specifically metadata management tooling
• Preference given to those with Collibra experience
• Ability to work with a variety of technical and business stakeholders to understand semantic meaning and secure necessary buy in

Desired Skills (Minimum 3)/Experience/Education:

• Client Consumer Business and/or technology experience Or
• Client Wholesale Banking Business and/or technology experience Or
• Client Global Markets business and or technology experience
• Collibra familiarity
• Tableau familiarity
