Project Manager (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Pennington, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- Manage projects involving multiple applications and exposures
- Ensure patching occurs by the required deadline and help mitigate risks to achieving due dates
- Manage expectations of CIO, GIS, and CTO as it relates to the risk associated with critical patches and schedules
- Ensure the program remediations occur on schedule and/or proper protocol is followed for an exception
- Verify critical path dependencies and communicate risk
- Work with the CTO, GIS, Application managers, and central remediation teams to articulate the vision for patching/NPT, drive change efforts, and secure requirements
- Support continuous reporting, metrics, and automation improvement efforts
- Communicate on things such as cost of efforts, delivery dates, risks, and remediation timelines
- Knowledge of internal tooling such as CM, Curator, NPTC, and Tableau
- Perform initial steps for escalations, research and prepare follow ups
- Own and track NPT/ Patching remediation tasks for Global Markets

- Project Management Lifecycle
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Management experience, ability to lead and manage more junior level people and to provide guidance and direction when they run into issues
- Client relationship management skills -Knowledge of/relationships with the CTO, GIS, Markets SLT and Core Central technology staff very valuable
- Problem solving skills e.g. ability to lead root cause analysis, save a project in trouble; escalate when deliveries does not happen or before dates are missed.
- Experience in technology relating to Patching and NPT remediation best practices
- C -Level management reporting and presentation skills
