Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • The Project Manager will serve as a key member of Data Quality team, leading and contributing to initiatives to support the Wholesale Credit Owned Enterprise Issues “eDIMs” that are scheduled to be implemented during 2022 and 2023. The Project manager will work with directly with members of the Data Quality Management team as well as other participants across Global Credit Operations (GCO). This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the program, expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Facilitate dependency management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration support the deliverable completion and timeline.
  • Creates and manage the overall project plan in order to keep team informed regarding potential challenges with critical path deliverables
  • Facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Remains actively involved in the execution of project activities and assist with other project and program routines as determined throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assists with the development and revision of project documents, status updates, communications, testing and implementation efforts
  • Support resource planning for delivery/execution.

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years as a project lead, including ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Organized, motivated, team-player, intellectually curious and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Solid communication, relationship, and process management skills
  • Ability to conduct discussions with senior leaders, managers, and team members
  • Ability to design/create presentations/processes and training to speak to multiple levels of the organization
  • Proactive - takes initiative/preempts stakeholder requirements before they connect and prepares accordingly
  • Strong interpersonal and overall communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Communicate with various leaders and change practitioners
