SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Position is a project manager contractor supporting Identity & Access Management or Cloud Services & Strategic Platforms initiatives that have significant impact and support multiple projects tied to the Never Down Strategy and Infrastructure Services Zone program. Responsibilities include all areas of project management including managing project scope, schedule, budget/expenses, identify key project roles and establish clearly defined responsibilities, define quality deliverables, Lead/Manage project execution, plan/drive/track execution activities, change readiness/adoption ensuring requirements are satisfied, and manage risk/issue resolution. Responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of a highly complex material change projects across multiple departments within a single business unit. Responsible for ensuring plans exist and are executed in support of the technology organization’s strategic goals and key priorities. Project manager will drive delivery of the committed deliverables and achievement of the success metrics. Project manager acts as the primary point of contact and is responsible for communicating project status across delivery teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders. Responsible for adherence to Enterprise Change Management standards for Project Management (deliverables, tollgates, PPRT System of Record updates, change controls, Permit to Operate requirements, deployment events, and more).

Top 3 Must Have Skillsets Required :

• Ex: Java; CCAR; OTC; Agile; SQL  
• Results-oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships based on trust, teamwork, and knowledge
• Strong business, financial, technology, and program/project management acumen
• Experience with SDLC leveraging Agile/Waterfall Methodologies and ability to adhere to Enterprise Change Management standards
• Skilled at managing scope, deliverables, schedule, interdependencies impacting the program/project, risks/issues, and develops sound go to green mitigation plans
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills at an executive level
• Ability to articulate clear and concise project status at the right level of detail for the audience
• Confident leading virtual meetings via WebEx or Skype to drive project deliverables and resolve risks/issues
• Proficient with standard tools including MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, SharePoint, Horizon Jira, etc.
• Proven ability to resolve project risks/issues and mitigate by negotiating solutions that meet expected results
• Data analysis skills/ability to create executive quality materials within tight timeframes and limited direction
• Agility when dealing with change
• IT Infrastructure background in Identity & Access Management (Active Directory & Account vaulting technologies) OR Cloud Services & Strategic Platforms (Bare Metal Provisioning, Virtualization Management Cluster, Virtualization KMS, Secure Management Area, and Ansible Tower as a Service).

Level of Experience Needed:

• 8-10+ years combined Technology, Program and Project Management experience in an Enterprise environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of ITIL and Service Lifecycle Management
• ITIL or PMP Certified
• Experience with PPRT (program/project management reporting tool).
