Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC OR Addison, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• This role will be an individual contributor, supporting Emerging Payments & Innovation governance, routines and operational rigor. The role will be part of the COO office. It is a full time role, required to interact with US and global teams. The role should be preferably be in Charlotte, NC or Plano/Addison, TX.
• The individual should be able to liaise with multiple levels of leadership, understand financial terminologies, excellent communicator and manage stakeholder expectations. Understanding of agile engineering is desirable.

Primary Skills:

• You may place secondary and Tertiary Skills here as well The key responsibilities are as follows:  
• Provide support to Payments COO by pro-actively understanding responsibilities and managing tasks independently
• Establish and maintain effective communication with Process Owners, Regional Managers, Product Owners and Key Stakeholders
• Lead activities related to setting standards, best practices, metrics for the Emerging Payments organization
• Coordinate with the BSM team for budget, forecast and other financial activities
• Coordinate effectively with central teams: risk, auditing, finance, HR etc
• Understand risk management and orchestrate closure of app maintenance risks
• Strong ability to prepare and deliver presentations
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
