Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Position Summary:

• Within the Global Procurement Technology organization. Working with Technical teams, Business Partners and External Vendors, this role is responsible for ensuring completion of project activities for large enterprise programs. Due to the complexities of the work and the number of stakeholders involved, early identification and remediation of risks/issues is critical to success in this position. The ability to work with senior leadership to resolve roadblocks is essential. Role also includes Financial management/reporting responsibility for the project and Enterprise Change Management deliverables relating to the project.

Required Skills:

• 6 years directly managing IT projects (including large projects $1m+); Experience managing multiple concurrent projects/workstreams; Waterfall & Agile; Project Management Certification – (At least one of: PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe); Communication – Clear, Concise, Accurate, Professional, Timely; Organization – Attention to detail, Drive to completion; Leadership – Options Analysis, Problem Solving, Decisioning; Relationship Management; Tools – JIRA, MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype

Desired Skills:

• Desired but not required: Experience as a Developer / Development Manager; Financial management / reporting responsibility; Advanced Excel; SQL or JQL (JIRA Query Language)
