Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in College Park, GA. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • 10 + years. Responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments across multiple business units. Manages, leads and directs the work efforts of resources that may be functionally aligned as part of the project and/or organizationally aligned as direct reports. Responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams in order to deliver the intended project solution. Responsibilities include: Manage Project Scope, Timeline and Budget/Expenses; obtain and align resources to key project roles; establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities; oversight/Manage/Lead project execution, integration and implementation; Risk Management and Mitigation Planning; Readiness / Change Adoption/Stakeholder Management; Quality Assurance, ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied; Acts as the primary point of contact and integration for the project; Acts as a Program Manager if required on an interim basis; Ability to represent / deputize senior project stakeholders where required
  • Supports End to End Technology for programs and projects. Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery. Role has matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects.
  • Manages multiple projects or a single major project. Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements/features for technology solutions. Assists with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment. Manages to timelines and communicates project status. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.

Required Skills:

  • Seasoned PM to manage complex Payments suite of projects. Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.
  • Experience with Agile Methodology
  • Ability to communicate clearly and navigate at all levels in the organization
  • Executive reporting and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications
  • Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.
