Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated individual contributor who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to enterprise change management standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.

  • Agile Development Methodology and Release Train teams •Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture and design
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Defining norms/agreement sand enforce the agreements taking them through adoption
  • Strong experience on work management tools like Jira, Confluence, GIT Hub etc.,
  • Developing execution strategies/plans while tracking deliverables and milestones against them
  • Visualization, measuring and reporting of Project health using PMO tools and Agile indicators
  • Strong working experience for adherence to change management standards, define tollgates, executive reporting and building artifacts to evidence for project tollgates
  • Excellent written presentation and verbal communication skills across both technical and non-technical terms
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Desired Skills/ Experience:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus Working with business and technology teams governed by regulatory requirements
  • Ability to provide input for financial planning with good understanding of variances
  • Working knowledge of products, services, business flows and understanding of financial context
  • Ability to comply with bank standards for information security and business architectures

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).
  • Plan, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion across multiple teams
  • Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables along with supporting resource planning for delivery/execution.
  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
  • Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables comply with global Enterprise Change Management (ECM) standards & FLU/CF Procedures are followed and evidence meets Enterprise and line of business requirements
  • Manages project scope, timeline, budget, risk & mitigation planning, developing transition plans while being responsible for uploading of ECM require
