Project Coordinator (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Coordinator for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Supports End to End Technology for programs and projects. Performs primarily compliance responsibilities with project management responsibilities in a support capacity relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery. Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. Manages and tracks the governance for multiple projects. Typically requires 3-5 years of applicable experience.
• Manages the governance activities and responsible for all governance required deliverables for acceptance/entry into the release
• Works with Delivery Analyst, Governance Lead, and Tech teams for ensuring documentation is compliant for a release
• Solicits and assists the Tech teams for release CRQ submission and tracks progress of implementation
• Requests and receives evidence documentation from Tech teams for release
• Monitors and tracks governance approvals needed for release
• Coordinates and oversees release weekend activities (control room, status reports, defect monitoring)

Required Skills:

• Experienced PC to manage complex Merchant Services suite of projects. Strong financial management skills required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and navigate at all levels in the organization
• Executive reporting and presentation skills
• Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both the strategic and tactical levels
• Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Payments or Financial Services space. Familiarity with various project management tools
• Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications
• Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously
• Agile experience strongly desired
• Merchant services experience
