Project / Change Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project / Change Manager for our client in New York, NY. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for working within the Equity Swaps technology team, product owners, line of business/operations users to support and drive delivery of change initiatives and regulatory demands. Coordinates and project manage deliveries, manages risks, and ensures compliance to enterprise change standards across service providers. Coordinates across cross-functional teams to ensure technology delivery is on time and within budget. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across teams to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Ensures execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the change requesters and enterprise claims change teams. Ensures all audit documentation is in line with enterprise change standards guidelines and timelines. Supports project reporting and other communications across the teams as required. Individual Contributor role.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years’ of technology change governance experience with strong analytical skills, problem solving, and conceptual thinking
  • Experience leading and supporting technology teams in the delivery of business outcomes
  • Ability to work self-directed and independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong ability to interact, communicate, and influence vertically and horizontally
  • Ability to anticipate risks and successfully develop and drive mitigation plans
  • Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Ability to navigate in complex and changing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
  • Working knowledge of using JIRA for Agile and Remedy for change management

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of the Client’s  Enterprise Change and Project Management and Reporting Standards
  • Experience working within a large financial institution organization
  • Scrum Master/Agile/JIRA Experience
