SkillStorm is seeking a Program Manager for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • (NFRR) Program is looking for an experienced program manager to support the program addressing regulatory reporting data sourcing to improve data accuracy and completeness. The candidate will work in close partnership with the program teams to provide oversight of the projects and their progress against financial and delivery targets.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of the regulatory report generation process
  • Knowledge of Global Banking and Markets’ products /asset classes and associated data including fixed income, equities, derivatives, and foreign exchange securities

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for monitoring defined project deliverables against program commitments and communicating the program objectives, delivery, risks, compliance to standards, and end-to-end health of the program. Provide transparency of the project deliverables (e.g. functionality, quality, timeline and cost). Coordinate and facilitate routines to support program financial and delivery metrics (e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates,) Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the program deliverable timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the program deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that project delivery is aligned with program deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor. General duties and responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to, the following:
  • Work with a great degree of independence with our project technology service providers to monitor and report on project delivery to commitments, both financial and delivery.
  • Manage the NFRR Program workstream deliverables based on the scope of the project effort and the
  • development methodology (FRS, JIRAs, agile stories) · Report on the delivery and financials for the various projects (e.g. track progress against commitments, support releases, provide progress reports) · Extract reports and queries from the PMO applications (PPR? JIRA, AgileView) Support the required reporting routines for the NFRR Program stakeholders and central PMO team.

Required Skills:

  • 5-10 years business project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile delivery and scrum management
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business
  • Administration, Management Information Science, Finance, or related.
  • Experience managing tight deadlines, and competing demands in a fast-paced environment
