Program Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Program Manager for our client in Richmond, VA. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Enterprise level program management.
  • Financial allocation management for resources.
  • Strong Communication Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and maintains program governance structure, including meeting routines, communication plans, status report-outs, etc. Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control.
  • Track adoption milestones, risks/issues and execution status across teams according to the technology roadmap
  • Manages multiple interdependent projects and technology change initiatives and provides change management oversight to ensure all change documentation meets requirements.
  • Manage financial and staffing related items such resource allocation, resource onboarding, and overall program budget. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources.
  • Create strategic messages and business stories in line with strategy, process and procedures
  • Manage resources such as templates, SharePoint and Discovery sites

Required Skills And Experience:

  • 5+ years of project, program and/or business support
  • Demonstrated experience planning and creating training plans that include communications, integration and execution
  • Articulate expression and the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong process documentation and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to lead by influence – up, down and across
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines with excellent organizational and planning skills

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Background in Client, Sales, AML, and/or Vendor data
  • Experience supporting technical or analytics teams using data to drive business recommendations
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or active PMP certification
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills to create materials easily understood by non-subject matter experts
  • SharePoint administration
