Program Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Program Manager for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • We are looking for an experienced program manager with an aptitude for program reporting, financial reporting (budgets) and change management. The candidate will play due roles of program manager and change manager, he/she will be responsible for monitoring the entire MRT portfolio to ensure goals are met and working with the Enterprise Change Management team to manage the MRT Enterprise Change process.

Detail Responsibilities:

  • Set up process to work with individual project teams to produce MRT Portfolio level comprehensive weekly portfolio status reporting to track progress, RAID using Agile View or other tools.
  • Set up process to provide weekly headlines of team achievements
  • Create and maintain MRT portfolio roadmap
  • Manage MRT resource planning
  • Provide input to various Town Hall and other senior management meeting material
  • The role includes ensuring all significant MRT deployments have received permit approval prior to deployments and that all projects are monitored to ensure MRT does not receive any non-compliance violations.
  • Responsibilities also includes planning, coordination and execution of tollgates across a large & complex program of work to ensure approvals are on track.
  • The role entails supporting the PMs, Dev leads, QA team. Active engagement with multiple stakeholders, developing relationships, and confidently conveying priorities and decisions are necessary. Successful candidates are process, detail oriented and organized, self-starting, capable of finding problems and suggesting solutions to remediate.

Required Skills:

  • Experience working on the large-scale program management and reporting
  • Expert on Enterprise Change process, including Permit to Operate
  • Excellent technical skills; JIRA, MS Excel, jira, MS Project, sharepoint, Visio, MS Powerpoint, MS Word.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users
  • Strong organizational skills and stakeholder management skills

Desired Skills:

  • A self-starter with a "can do" attitude, comfortable working in a fast paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities 
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC process
  • Project management certificate
