Production Support Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Production Support Analyst for our client in Pennington, NJ OR Charlotte, NC OR Richardson, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Respond in a timely manner to production incidents as they occur.
• Must have the ability to communicate to all levels of the business.
• The position requires evening and weekend hours on a rotation.
• Provide production management services to the Account Opening business partners to ensure daily delivery of technology functions that serves those business lines.
• Day to day tasks requires the ability to solve production incidents under tight deadlines, root cause determination, and problem resolution follow-up
• Lead meetings and triage calls.
• Identify incident root cause and corrective actions.
• Automate and simplify tasks.
• Primary Skill : Distributed environment Production support & Analytical Thinking

Required Skills:

• 5+ years IT experience
• Production support experience
  Knowledge of operating systems: Linux, OpenVMS, Windows, z/OS, z/VM
• Net Framework 4.0, C#, ASP.Net, ASP.NET MVC, Visual Studio,
• Unit Testing Frameworks
• HTML/XHTML, HTML 5, CSS, Javascript
  JSON, JSONP, XML/XSL, Web-services, RESTful APIs, SOAP
• UI knowledge of Application Programming Interface (API)
• Knowledge of and databases, DB2, SQL, Oracle and Sybase
• Knowledge of basic data transfer terms and concepts, such as NDM, FTP, sFTP
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with automation and simplification of tasks.
• Ability to craft basic to complex queries in SQL.
  Ability to multi-task and provide weekend support on a rotational basis.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework including ITSM – Incident, Change and Problem management.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to read Splunk logs
• Experience with monitoring/debugging tools, AppWatch, Dynatrace, SOA Oneview, App Dynamics
• Experience with Financial Domain in Online Brokerage & Banking
• Experience with supporting monitoring on Cloud and Containers infrastructure
