Production Services Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Production Services Manager for our client in Pennington, NJ OR Richardson, TX OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • As a member of DevOps team the person will be responsible for running the day to day operations of the technology platform. Work activities specific to Production Services roles include Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, Application Monitoring, Service Analytics and Reporting, Triage, Associate Support, Change/Configuration Management, etc. The Production Services Manager translates business strategy into work programs and processes. Directs lower-level managers or team leaders or directly manages a specialty function. Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an technology environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives. Participates with management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as an escalation point between the client/business area and internal management for the resolution of moderately complex unresolved problems, complaints and service requests. Provides the client areas with technology products and service alternatives that improve the production services environment. Skills for managing employees and resources is a must.

The Individual Will Be Responsible For The Following:

  • Participate in System Design – The process of defining and documenting the hardware, software, infrastructure components, modules, interfaces, scalability, and high availability solutions that meet specified business development requirements.
  • Participate in Application Integration – The process of building integrated solutions based on the system design and the standard ML product portfolio, includes identifying dependencies and pre-requisites for the solution and validating non-functional attributes of the system design. AI is also responsible for the Deployment Documentation, formal knowledge sharing, and turnover meetings with the appropriate support and service management staff to understand the solution.
  • Perform Infrastructure Integration – The process of bringing together interconnected infrastructure technology elements in the form of a cohesive framework. This framework supports end to end business solutions.
  • Provide 3rd Level Support - Incident troubleshooting, analysis and resolution beyond 1st, 2nd level and GWM Operational Stability (SWAT) support tiers.

Required Skills:

  • Candidate must have 5+ year experience with Windows 2012/2016, IIS, .Net application integration in large complex environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows environment
  • Basic understanding and troubleshoot experience of multi-tier applications, Networking, SQL
  • DEVOPS Working Experience
  • Good working knowledge of CI CD Process . like Ansible , Jira ,XLR

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows PowerShell scripting
  • Prior Bank /Finance work experience
