Product Owner / Scrum Master (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Product Owner / Scrum Master for our client in Richardson, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• The Product Owner (PO)/Scrum Master will be responsible for building the Telemetry and Data Analytics roadmap and ensuring timely product buildouts. The PO is responsible for many facets of the teams’ workload including collaboration, intake, elaboration of features/stories, business value and prioritization. The PO works with other teams to maximize the value of the work being performed in any given sprint to grow strong partner relationships with key business stakeholders.
• The PO ensures that the teams are working on stories that deliver against the product vision, maximize business value, and deliver necessary functionality to customers. The successful candidate is expected to be a self-starter, have strong communication skills to manage global stakeholders across the organization and act as the bridge between the team and our stakeholders.

Required Job Skills:

• Build the roadmap and delivery plan for Network Telemetry and Data Analytics
• Write clear, compelling, and detailed user epics and stories with user acceptance criteria in an Agile environment and prioritize Stories in backlog as per business needs
• Manage and set release expectations for delivery of new functionalities
• Analyze usage of data products and define potential technical enhancements
• Experience delivering programs and managing various stakeholders across an enterprise, including business value assessment and problem definition when onboarding new use cases.
• Successful delivery record as Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably for a data analytics workstream
• Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Experience in Agile methodologies, technologies, and development lifecycle
• Keep abreast with Agile best practices and new trends
• Strong stakeholder management
• Good understanding of data technologies and analytics
• Define and groom product backlog
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and an ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of the business
• Provide team leadership by consistently demonstrating positive interactions and strong work ethic
• Minimum 2+ years demonstrated experience in project management or support roles for IT solutions in customer facing environments requiring complex relationship management and diagnosing complex support and service issues

Desired Job Skills:

• PMP, CSPO, and CSM certifications preferred
• Sound understanding of software development life cycle and successful management of multiple full lifecycle projects is required, Agile experience is highly preferred.
• Awareness of networking protocols and technologies
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Product Owner/Manager role
• Familiar with AI/ML and advanced analytics
• Jira, Project Management, Agile
