Platform Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Platform Engineer for our client in Pennington, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Position Summary:

• Desktop Platform Engineering resource assigned with design and implementation of next generation Wealth Management desktop replacement platform. This person must have extensive knowledge and applied on the job experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, as well as packaging technologies, virtualization, and telemetry tools. This position will also require understanding of a dispersed Branch Office technical environment, with an understanding of networking tools and terminology. Experience with windows imaging technologies, specifically Microsoft Configuration Manager, is required. Understanding of release management workflows and toolsets is highly desired.

Required Skills:

• Engineering and design within packaging/OS delivery tools; Microsoft Configuration Manager, Flexera Admin Studio and Microsoft AppV.

Desired Skills:

• Extensive knowledge and applied experience with Windows OS environment (Windows 7 and Windows 10); Microsoft Virtualization Technologies (AppV, User Experience Virtualization) Flexera Admin Studio, Microsoft Configuration Manager
