Pega Manual Tester (Closed)

Description of Work:

The Pega Tester will test the software for bugs, user difficulties, or other technical issues. This individual will be responsible for creating the test plan and following the test plan to ensure the different features of the application work according to the specifications and ensuring there are no issues before the software is launched.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of work experience; Masters and 5 years of experience; or a minimum 11 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years developing test strategy and test plans
• 5+ years creating and executing manual test cases/scenarios
• 5+ years of experience logging defects and tracking to resolution
• Experience testing applications developed in Pega
• 3+ years of experience in Pega version 7.x or greater
• Experience providing feedback and recommendations to developers on usability and functionality
• 3+ years of experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

• Prior SSA experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Pega version 8.x
• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements
• Knowledge of full Pega Platform implementation cycle
• Experience with change control management
• Experience in large-scale enterprise Pega engagements end-to-end
