Pega Business Architect (Closed)

Description of Work:

 

The Pega Business Architect will act as a liaison between the business users, stakeholders and technical leads. This individual will be responsible to work with Lead System Architect and client team jointly charting business and technical strategies. Working on-site at a customer location, this role will interact with and communicate product requirements to architects, engineers, development managers, product managers, testers, and other stakeholders.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of work experience; Masters and 5 years of experience; or a minimum 11 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) certification
  • 4+ years of experience in facilitating requirements gathering sessions including Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO), eliciting requirements, facilitating playback sessions and obtaining business stakeholder alignment of the proposed workflow/functionality/screens within the application
  • 2+ years of experience in Pega version 7.x or greater
  • 2+ years of experience with Pega Platform and its foundational components and how to apply them to plan requirements and design business processes
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

  • Prior SSA experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Pega Express and UX Design concepts
  • Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in Pega
  • Experience designing and developing process-based solutions
  • Knowledge of full Pega Platform implementation cycle including Enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design
  • Experience with change control management and testing of Pega applications
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise Pega engagements end-to-end
