Pega Business Architect

SkillStorm is actively seeking a Pega Business Architect for our client in the Baltimore, MD area. 

*This position requires candidates to either have an Active Public Trust, or the ability to obtain & maintain a US Public Trust*


The Pega Business Architect will act as a liaison between the business users, stakeholders and technical leads. This individual will be responsible to work with Lead System Architect and client team jointly charting business and technical strategies.

Working on-site at a customer location, this role will interact with and communicate product requirements to architects, engineers, development managers, product managers, testers, and other stakeholders.


  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of work experience; Masters and 5 years of experience; or a minimum 11 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) certification
  • 4+ years of experience in facilitating requirements gathering sessions including Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO), eliciting requirements, facilitating playback sessions and obtaining business stakeholder alignment of the proposed workflow/functionality/screens within the application
  • 2+ years of experience in Pega version 7.x or greater
  • 2+ years of experience with Pega Platform and its foundational components and how to apply them to plan requirements and design business processes
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment
  • Clearance Level: US Public Trust or ability to obtain/maintain US Public Trust prior to start
