Oracle / SQL Application Support (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Oracle / SQL Developer for our client in Jersey City, NJ OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Responsible for supporting GMOT AML applications to ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with business and technology teams to document, identify and implement solutions to system, risks, defects and data deficiencies.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience within the financial service or regulatory industries.
• Strong experience with Oracle SQL.
• Experience with AutoSys job scheduler and Linux scripting.
• Experience working with Pega developed applications.
• Familiar with Mule ESB and JSON services.
• Strong ability to perform data analysis.
• Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and Waterfall including JIRA and Kanban boards.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, distributed, fast paced environment managing and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders and technology teams to understand system requirements.
• Perform in-depth AML data research and analysis.
• Facilitate discussions with business partners and stakeholders to understand system behavior and data deficiencies.
• Coordinate with support teams and business's partners to triage system issues and apply solutions.
• Work with risk and compliance partners to respond to Audit inquires.
• Identify and implement system improvements.
