SkillStorm is seeking an Oracle DBA for our client in Charlotte, NC OR Richardson, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Application DBA Specialist with Oracle Golden Gate, Performance tuning with 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience in a large, enterprise environment. This particular role will need an experienced sr. Oracle DBA for supporting large databases supporting application/database performance tuning , Supporting Oracle Golden Gate with High Availability architecture.
• The candidate should be able to work under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers and manage / maintain complex databases system / Oracle Golden Gate system, with skilled troubleshooting knowledge and strong verbal and written communication . Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor.
• Ability to provide technical documentation, automation scripting, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting across a large enterprise environment
• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors including tuning of Downstream mining of Oracle Golden Gate , fine tuning oracle extract / replicate process to achieve desired SLA by tuning for performance.
• Database server and application sizing and capacity planning, Database server and application tuning for performance and scalability, Database and application server performance testing experience. Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) experience, In-Depth understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions.
• In-Depth understanding of Oracle (11g , 12c , 19c ), Oracle Dataguard & Dataguard broker , Sound understanding with Oracle Exadata and migration of 11g to 19 c experience .
• Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
• Strong experience with Oracle SQL performance tuning, Database level performance tuning , OEM13c. Ability work with Application Developers, Production support teams in troubleshooting performance issues as application DBA .
• 10 years of experience w/ Strong experience with Oracle SQL performance tuning, Database level performance tuning , OEM13c.
