Operations Support (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Operations Support for our client in Pennington, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Responsible to assist with the daily operational functions of the retirement disbursements team, which focuses on pension related payment processing and related tasks. The Operations Support individual will work closely with the team lead to support all aspects of the daily operation, including data entry and QA review of transactions. This individual will also provide project support for department initiatives and work with the team to resolve any production issues related to disbursements or client inquiries.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and documented procedures as provided by the LOB leads.
  • Effectively communicates and confidently asks clarifying questions.
  • Teamwork- proven ability to work in a team environment and stay connected through excellent communication and positive attitude with peer(s) and teams on other sites.
  • Ability to learn software applications related to key business processes and data entry:
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • PC skills, Windows applications (Excel, Word)
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Prior banking/financial service industry experience preferred, experience with tax and brokerage products a plus
  • Demonstrate strong integrity and teamwork
  • Resource is required to be on the assignment for Forty hours per week. Attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position; therefore, unexcused absences and tardiness could result in dismissal.
