Network / System Engineer V (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Automation Architect / Engineer for our client in Richardson, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Automation architect/engineer to support network automation work activities such as automated device provisioning, lab certification, and process automation across all engineering functions.
• Responsible for creation and management of automation packages (e.g., NSO service packs)
• Develop and execute technical test plans to certify new devices and capabilities in support of new project initiatives
• Develop and document automated test scripts for repeatable test execution across products/versions
• Must be able to develop network engineering designs including device level configuration engineering detail.
• Able to adjust designs to meet business-required levels of cost, reliability, and data security.
• Able to understand, formulate, and communicate complex designs with other technology partners within the technology organization.

Top 3 Must Have Skillsets Required:

• Experience with large scale, complex network/DMZ environments
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP concepts including BGP, OSPF, Multicast, QOS, IPSEC, ISAKMP, SCEP, SDN
• Experience with scripting languages
• Level of Experience Needed (highlight)

?Required Job Skills:

• 7-10 years industry experience with technology domain experience
• Experience with Cisco equipment, OSPF, BGP, IPv4
• General experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection, threat mitigation
• Experience with large scale, complex network/DMZ environments
• Experience with DMZ Routing, Switching, DDoS technologies
• Experience with scripting languages
• Technology degree or substantial equivalent experience

Desired Job Skills:

• IPv6 Knowledge/experience to support certification testing of IPv6 capabilities
• Experience with automated testing and development of automation scripts. Python experience desirable.
• Experience with automation skills/tools such as: Cisco NSO, Ansible, Netconf, YANG
• Experience test tools including Quali Cloud Shell, and Viavi Tera VM
