Network / System Engineer IV (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Security Engineer for our client in Addison, Texas Jersey City, New Jersey, OR Denver, Colorado. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

  • The Cyber Security Technology (CST) function within Global Information Security is responsible for innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, deployment maintenance and support of information technology security controls. The CST team is also responsible for the management of the program/project management teams.
  • Provide engineering support for the Identity and Authentication team. Support the enterprise SSO platform to enable a secure and enhanced authentication experience for Client enterprise users. Knowledge and experience with information security, Authorization and Authentication systems, infrastructure and implementation techniques is a key component to this role. You will demonstrate extraordinary organizational and cross-functional communication skills to collaborate on the integration to existing security features. Work with multiple major technology teams within Global Technology

Desired Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in Information Security
  • Strong hands-on experience with industry standard SSO technologies and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, SCIM, LDAP, SAML)
  • Expertise in Identity and Authentication solutions using products such as PingFederate/PingAccess, Okta, Active Directory or Siteminder
  • Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory services, MFA, Risk based authentication and privileged access management
  • Holistic view of IAM (Authentication and Authorization Data, Endpoint Security, Network Security, Policy Engine)
  • Proficient in Linux, Windows, Tomcat, Web Logic, IBM WebSphere environments
  • Ability to utilize various programming or scripting languages such as Shell scripting, Perl, Python, JavaScript, HTML and PowerShell
  • Understanding of API design concepts, RESTful Services and modern application interaction patterns
  • Familiarity with deployments and integration of IAM solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
  • Experience in deploying large-scale, global projects and programs
  • Familiarity with IT security and risk management practices
  • Effective communication skills and motivation/willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight
  • Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking; out-of-the-box thinkers
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and address problems to resolve issues in a way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization
  • Ability to be comfortable delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • CISSP/Security+/SANS certifications
