Network / System Engineer III (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a DevOps Engineer for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina OR Richmond, Virginia. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• DevOps Environment Engineer
• Familiarity with Perl, Shell and/or YAML.
• A seasoned DevOps Release and Deployment Engineer with Excellent Communication Skills.
• Excellent planning & execution skills.
• Willing to be part of 24/7 onshore support team – This includes working in different shift timings including Weekends on a rotational basis.
• Having good understanding on Application Environment and its various components.
• Excellent understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Familiarity operating in Linux and Windows environments supporting Java Applications
• Strong communication Oral/Written and should be vocal during triage bridge lines
• Knowledge on Release management, Change Management and Incident management for both the infrastructure and the application
• Good team player as role require lot of coordination with various stakeholders & partners.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a matrixed global team.
• Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Remedy, JIRA, XLRelease.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with MS Project and Visio a plus.
• Willingness to function as Release Coordinator as needed.
