Network Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Network Engineer for our client in Richardson, TX OR Charlotte, NC OR Richmond, VA. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Network engineer supporting internal project automation initiatives.
• Develop and document automated test scripts for device provisioning and for repeatable test execution across products/versions
• Develop and execute technical test plans to certify new devices and capabilities in support of new project initiatives
• Must be able to develop network engineering designs including device level configuration engineering detail.
• Able to adjust designs to meet business-required levels of cost, reliability, and data security.
• Able to understand, formulate, and communicate complex designs with other technology partners within the technology organization.
• Network Engineering, Programming/Scripting (e.g. Python), Agile tools (Jira)
• 7-10 years industry experience with technology domain experience
• Experience with scripting languages
• Experience with network engineering/design
• Experience with Cisco network equipment, Arista experience also desired
• General experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection, threat mitigation
• Experience with large scale, complex network/DMZ environments
• Experience with DMZ Routing, Switching
• Technology degree or substantial equivalent experience
