.NET / Java Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a .NET / Java Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Following established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business. Individual contributor role; fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed. Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed. Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project. Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates. Senior developer with 4-8 year of experience.

Required Skills:

• Clear communication skills
• Web service expertise.
• 5+ years’ Experience in C#, WCF, MVC/ASP.Net, Web Forms, WEBAPI, jQuery, AJAX, SQL Server, GIT, Subversion.
• 2+ years’ Experience in Java/J2EE
• Responsible for Full stack development
• Ability to design modules independently.
• Ability to review new technologies as applicable solutions to new or existing problems
• Work closely with the development team on implementing methodologies
• Must have a solid understanding of SDLC and AGILE development practices
• Provide peer code reviews
• Ensure code and design meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable
• Work with Business Analysts to analyze and convert business requirements into scalable, robust and flexible designs
• Test software components
• Follow configuration management/version control policies
• Investigate and research defects, present solution with estimated work effort and implement

• Strong project management skills
