.NET / C# Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a .NET / C# Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Define and develop a cloud-based replatform strategy for a critical business application. This resource will be working with network, security, performance, and application development resources to identify and define a new target platform for a current .Net application. Duties will include Proof of concept development and performance assessment which will be required to ensure usability of any new platform. Must be able to understand technical cloud and container terms to manage and lead the container delivery program.
• Application architecture design experience and/or coordinating development activities with architecture resources.
• Experience working with application hosted on Microsoft technologies including .Net platforms (IIS, C# .Net, XML, API Services, MS SQL Server, Oracle Exadata)
• Working knowledge of using Agile methodology in a fast-paced environment, experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery, and contributing to sprints and program increments.
• Experience with AGILE development in a SCRUM team

Primary Skill:

• Cloud development (Azure, AWS, or other platform)
• C#

Required Skills:

• Application architecture design experience and/or coordinating development activities with architecture resources.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in application testing: functional, component integration, system integration, regression and performance.
• Familiarity with Devops/Horizon Tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, JIRA, XLR and/or Dactical
• Automate script experience with tools like UFT, NUNIT or MOQ
• Experience with the following utilities: DTS/SSIS, NDM, MQ, Distributed Memory Cache
• Demonstrates a strong technical aptitude and desire for continuous learning and improvement.
• Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results.
• Interacts efficiently with internal contacts/teams to drive through the solution and solve problems
• Strong communication skills; proactively bring forward concerns
