SkillStorm is seeking a Mobile Engineer for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• We are looking to hire a talented Mobile Development Engineer, who has hands on experience working on iOS and Android platforms to design, build, and maintain the next generation mobile applications. Your duties may include collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the core code, and updating applications published on the App Store.
• To ensure success as a Mobile development Engineer, you should have a strong working knowledge of iOS and Android Frameworks, be proficient in Objective-C, Swift & Swift UI and be able to work as part of a team. Typically requires minimum of 5-7 years of experience. Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree is required

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience.
• Proven experience as an Mobile app developer
• Design, Develop & Prototype iOS and Android development using Swift/Objective C/Kotlin and Java. Mobile native customer application for phone and tablets for internal and external use. Expert in Mobile applications and hands on Java. Hands on experience with Mobile Automation solutions like Earl Grey and Espresso. Expertise in Static Analysis and proven experience in researching memory and security flaws with static analysis. Participate in full app life-cycle: concept , design, build, deploy, test and release to app store Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimate. Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms. Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools. Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.

Desired Skills:

• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI or Kotlin
• Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks and integrating vendor app SDK’s.
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services.
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of C-based libraries.
• Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera API’s, etc.
• Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
