Linux Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Linux Engineer for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with RedHat products and a demonstrated record of successful implementations. This position will support the rollout of a RedHat Enterprise Linux with multiple integrations and automation into monitoring and other systems of record and services. The candidate should have a working knowledge of RedHat Operating system, package management (RPM), process monitoring and utilization, and automation. Require working knowledge of Linux deployment and configuration management, with expert skills in Linux Engineering.

• Programming Skills - Shell, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, etc
• RPM packaging (RHEL)
• Jenkins CICD
• Jenkins Webhooks integration
• Testing, troubleshooting and debugging skills

• Design critical infrastructure services that maintain ?99.9% uptime
• Produce clear technical and user documentation in English
