Job Description:
- This position is for a Change, AIT, Risk and Compliance lead for the Global Banking Analytics Team.
- This role requires interfacing with Change management, AIT, Risk & Compliance, Dev Ops and TI partners to support GBAI application releases, RISE & compliance deliverables
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the application flow and coordinate the change management process including interfacing with Delivery Leads, stakeholders etc.
- Manage all the required artefacts for each release to maintain compliance with MRA2, Risk & Compliance standards etc.
- Work with the onshore and offshore devops team members to execute on the required workflows and processes for each release.
- Ensure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.
- Lead to engage relevant business and technology teams to resolve any issues/ERP remediation’s/SIAI remediation’s or problems within the application/s.
- Responsible for instructing, directing, and making sure to deliver all deliverables for the application are met with in timeline for RISE & P2/P3 remediation’s where development is required.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to create, analyze, and improve processes and solutions.
- Lead the support functions of L3 Management, Application DevOps & being lead for Support.
- Leads Support with Vendors & Business Production services to have minimum impact to business with quality delivery of Incident/problems fixes during major Priority 1/2 issues.
- Must be able to effectively communicate problem status to senior management Plans, prepares for, and effectively facilitates team meetings and presentation
- Facilitate responses for the country specific audit requirements.
- Lead NPT Program on requirement basis for the applications.
- Lead the support functions of risk management, access management, Business continuity planning, continuous Integration and continuous development, Non Permitted technology remediation, application governance across different set of applications for NLP/analytics applications.
- Ensure Impact analysis, QA & QC is completed with SIT, UAT signoff’s before the changes are deployed to production.
- Works independently, with limited direction, and is focused for end results
- Technical skills on linux, troubleshooting logs etc
- The following are the tasks the role as an L3 Engineer is responsible for:
- Application support and troubleshooting
- Ability in supporting GUIs, container platforms. AD groups to support GUIs
- Ability to understand the Linux platform and storage support needs for an application
- Ability to learn and create enterprise requests using ARM
- Take escalations from L2 and troubleshoot issues with clear communication and ETA plan
- Understanding scripts to develop bulk processing of requests
- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into support design model
- Understand how to request on ITSM, release process and Nexus.
- Maintain security and data privacy.
- SQL knowledge for designing queries to troubleshoot ion supporting issues
- Propose best practices/standards for support
- Understanding how to manage application DR for support impacts
- Knows the workflow of L3 urgency and support and clearly knows how to communicate up frequently.
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge in back-end programming, specifically Python, Java, shell Script and SQL
- Hands on experience in Container platform such as Openshift, CICD / DevOps and Release execution
- Understanding web applications, web servers and how they operate
- Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
- Ability to write scripts for any batch needs.
