JavaScript / React Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a JavaScript / React Developer for our client in Jersey City, NJ OR Richardson, TX OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• We are seeking to fill a senior level software developer position who will be working on development of a private cloud hosting platform. This role will primarily focus on front end UI side system development.
• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Javascript programming experience developing large scale enterprise quality web sites, fluent in ReactJS and Redux, well understanding microservices architecture. In addition, the person should have a strong familiarity with common standards and tools used in software development, as well as understanding of cloud computing concepts.

Required:

• ReactJS
• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• Jest, Enzyme, Pact
• NodeJS, NPM
• RESTful web services
• Test-Driven Development or Behavior-Driven Development
• Proved experience in building large scale and mission critical enterprise wide systems

Desired:

• ExpressJS, Swagger
• Webpack, Babel, ESLint
• Product knowledge and experience: Mongodb, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch
• Hashicorp Products like Consul/Nomad/Terraform/Vault
• Programming experience with workflow or cloud orchestration frameworks
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Very strong analytical skills.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
