Java / MuleSoft Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Java / MuleSoft Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • This position requires knowledge and experience with J2EE, MuleSoft product suite as well as experience in detailed requirements analysis, software design, development, testing, and deployment. The Java/Mule Developer will work with the Project Manager, Business, architects and partners to implement web services in order to solve mission-critical business challenges. The individual will build and maintain integrations for multiple on premises and/or cloud systems and must be capable of understanding business requirements, developing, deploying the integrations and ability to interact with all level of stakeholders, support personnel, Architects, testers and server admins.

Required Skills:

  • Strong development experience with Java, J2EE, Oracle, Spring MVC Framework, Hibernate, JSON, XML and web services (REST/Soap) and experience on using JAVA/J2EE, JSON standards, XML / XSD schema, SOAP UI
  • 8+ years software development experience in designing, developing, testing and maintenance
  • 5+ years of development experience with Java, J2EE, Oracle, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JSON, XML and web services (REST/Soap) 
  • Hands on experience on JUNIT test cases, integrating with code coverage tools and experience on using JAVA/J2EE, JSON standards, XML / XSD schema, SOAP UI
  • 3+ years working in a corporate IT environment with software tools used for design, build, test and debug
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Working in an Agile Environment

Desired Skills:

  • 5 years' experience in Middleware, SOA, Integration architecture, messaging patterns, and Mulesoft’s API-driven design methodology
  • Software developer with 2+ years hands-on experience in-depth and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using Mulesoft software products, including Anypoint Studio 7.3.x, Anypoint API Manager, Anypoint Runtime Manager and Anypoint Exchange
  • Candidate should have hands-on experience deploying, operating, monitoring and maturing Mulesoft applications and platforms, for both on-premise and Cloud
  • In-depth understanding of JSON and XML message structures
  • Design, publish and test RESTful APIs using RAML 1.0, Anypoint API Manager and Anypoint API Portals
  • Secure Mule service endpoints using OAuth2.0, HTTPS, SSO, and AES Encryption
  • Manage project dependencies in Anypoint Studio using Maven
  • Experience using Git for code sharing, deployment management and team collaboration
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes utilizing Jenkins or a similar tool
  • Unit test all services using MUnit
  • Functional/end-to-end testing using Anypoint Portal, SOAPUI and Postman
