Java Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Java Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• This position requires the candidate to work closely with Business and System Analyst team to understand the system requirements and translate them into low-level design and implement the application code as per the standard coding pattern and guidelines. The candidate is also required to unit test the code and package the code for deployment to higher lanes all up to Production environment. The candidate will be responsible to work with quality assurance and product certification teams to provide support and fixes identified during the lifecycle of application testing and certification.

Required Skills:

• Experience in Core Java, developing J2EE Applications involving JSP and Servlets
• Experience with IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans or IntelliJ
• App Server experience in deploying J2EE applications using WebSphere or Tomcat or Apache.
• Experience in financial domain.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0 or higher with proficiency in .Net Core, C#, and WCF services. Strong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming.
• Expertise in web technologies including ASP.Net, .Net MVC, client-side technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap.
• Experience on WebApi.
• Working knowledge on HandleBar/ AngularJS/ React, JavaScript, jQuery, client-side technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and demonstrates a willingness to accept additional responsibilities and projects.
