Java Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Java Developer for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Resource to design, develop, maintain and test software, collaborating with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in an agile environment. Should be hands on and able to successfully deliver on time without defects. Ability to achieve subject matter expertise quickly on new applications is needed. Requires proven track record in Java, J2EE, SQL and Database design.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to develop server side web based application using Java
• Responsible to create Spring Rest services
• Transaction management using annotations
• Must be strong with writing Hibernate related queries (HQL) and setting table relationships
• Must be capable of writing custom SQL for Oracle database.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Responsible to develop Junit test cases and perform unit testing.
• Must be able to interact and co-ordinate with distributed team.
• Must be good in communication skills.
• Responsible to provide regular task status update to the management

Required Skills:

• Experience on Java 1.8
• Experience using Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Restful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations
• Experience using JPA / Hibernate and also developing complex native queries using SQL / HQL
• Any version control tool (SVN/Bitbucket)

Desired Skills:

• Good to have Angular JS 1.x/ReactJS/Node.JS
• Experience on SDM Adoption / Horizon onboarding tools (Bit Bucket, Gradle, Jenkins
